We are accepting registrations for the school year September 2012/2013 from January 30th, 2012. These are processed by date of registration.

We currently have vacancies in our afternoon program classes.

Daycare - 7:30am-5:30pm Mon-Fri

Meals are not provided. All children must be 36 months old and fully toilet trained.

Fee Schedule
From September through June (or July for daycare)
~$130/month for 2 day classes
~$188/month for 3 day classes
~$318/month for 5 day classes

~$775/month for Daycare

There is a $25 (non-refundable) registration fee required per child.

Wiseways is a Christian Preschool and Daycare for three and four year old children. Our program is designed to meet the needs of the whole child: spiritually, cognitively, emotionally, socially, and physically. We recognize the preschool years as critical to the future development of your child.

As an important ministry of Lambrick Park Church, Wiseways Preschool and Daycare has enjoyed an excellent reputation in the community since opening our doors in 1953. Our care and commitment to the family is demonstrated with a sound preschool education that models and teaches God’s love. Creative programming, positive guidance, and personal interest are the hallmarks of a Wiseways education.

Wiseways Daycare provides daycare spaces for 16 children aged three and four years old. The program offers a preschool program as part of the daycare.

The hours of the daycare are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. The children must be a minimum of 36 months and be potty trained. The cost of this program is $750.00 per month and includes the preschool fees.

To compliment our excellent teaching program, Wiseways Preschool has a wonderful facility consisting of:

Winter Update!

The Wonderful World of Wiseways

Wiseways Preschool is back in session, after a Christmas break, with lots of winter fun and activities. This week we had a PJ party. Everyone wore their PJs to school (even the teachers) and popcorn and a movie. Next week we are going skating at Oak Bay Arena. When you mix in these activities with penguins and snowmen, we have been very busy. Eight new children have also started. We have also started registration for September 2012.

Barbara is our newest teacher, being at Wiseways only 6 years. She loves
to play with the children one on one. She also makes the cutest bear for
our Teddy Bear Picnic. Barb is a very hard worker and is always doing
the behind the scenes things that keep our program running smoothly.

Wiseways has been extremely busy through October and November. We had exceptional visits to see the salmon spawning at Goldstream. It didn’t rain, the children enjoyed themselves and the parents had a chance to meet and visit with each other. It was like a big family picnic.

Already the halls of Wiseways are ringing with the sound of children practicing their Christmas songs. It really makes you feel like Christmas is not far off. Our Christmas concerts are on December 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th at 6:30 p.m. Please come and hear our “Wiseways Angels” sing. It is an unforgettable evening.

Everyone is looking forward to a new year filled with lots of activities starting with a skating party in January.

All the teachers and staff wish everyone a wonderful Christmas filled with the sound of children’s laughter. And may Christ reign in your heart each day.

Wonderful World of Wiseways

This is a really busy time of the year at Wiseways. Last week we visited
Goldstream to see the salmon spawn. This was a family field
trip,  moms, dads, siblings and grandparents came along.  After spending
time with the naturalist and learning all about salmon spawning we had
a family picnic.  Next week is our annual Teddy Bear Picnic. The children bring their
favourite stuffed toy to school. The school has been turned into a
magical forest for the event. We have a visit from Sam, the bear, (one
our staff in a bear costume) and a snack that Teddy Bears love.  It is a
very special time and is loved by children, parents and staff alike.

Miss Susan has been an educator at Wiseways for 11 years. She is very creative and loves to try new experiments. As an example, she put a bag of flour in one of our tables. The children really enjoyed the texture and feel of the flour. They looked like snowmen when they were finished. She also taught the children about light and colour mixing by using a light table, coloured crystals and an overhead projector. In this picture the children are making apple crisp for snack. We all love her new ideas.

Fall Days

The children are now settled into the school and
excited to come each day. We have been
celebrating fall and Thanksgiving. We made pizza. Each child brought an ingredient to share with everyone. Look what we can do when we share and work together. The children are working on various apple arts and made yummy apple crisp. The staff really like these days.

Wiseways Preschool is back in full swing for another year. The children
are quickly settling in and excited to be here. This month the children are learning about keeping our bodies healthy. They are learning about invisible germs and the importance of washing their hands, covering our mouths when we cough and brushing our teeth. The teachers have so many fun arts and stories that the children love
this learning time.
